Dr. Kadriye Ercikan Elected as Vice President of AERA

Ercikan - headshot-JA-finalOn March 14, 2014 the American Educational Research Association (AERA) announced their new President-Elect and other key members of AERA Counsil.

Kadriye Ercikan, deputy head of the department of Educational & Counselling Psychology, and Special Education and Professor of Measurement, Evaluation, and Research Methodology, has been elected as Vice President of AERA, representing Division D.

Her term begins as Vice-President-Elect in April 2014 and will develop into a Vice President role in 2015 for a 3 year term.

In speaking with Dr. Ercikan about this recent news, she disclosed, “I am delighted and honoured by my election to represent one of the largest Divisions in AERA.  My term as VP will also coincide with AERA centennial celebrations in 2016.”
