Meet Our Visiting Professors: Expanding Knowledge and Collaboration at UBC!

Introduction:

The University of British Columbia is proud to host a diverse range of visiting professors who contribute to our academic community through their expertise, research, and passion for teaching. This year, we are pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Malgorzata Przanowska from the University of Warsaw and Prof. Oscar, who will be working closely with our faculty, graduate students, and researchers to advance the study of education and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL).

Biography:

Prof. Dr. Malgorzata Przanowska is a distinguished scholar from the University of Warsaw with a focus on listening in education and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). She started her work with UBC on September 1, 2024, and will be joining us in person from February 10 to May 10, 2025. During her time here, Prof. Przanowska will be offering workshops, guest lectures, and collaborating with our graduate students.

Research Interests and Engagement:

Prof. Przanowska is keen to collaborate with our community and engage in workshops, guest lectures, and teaching opportunities. She will also be conducting interviews with graduate students about their experiences with learning and listening as part of her work at UBC.
