ECPS is pleased to welcome Dr. Eun Young Kwon as an Assistant Professor in Special Education in Deaf and Hard of Hearing concentration
Dr. Kwon brings 17 years of experience as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, having worked in diverse educational settings in the Delta School District and the British Columbia Provincial School for the Deaf. Prior to that, she served as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Korea, supporting young children with autism and/or developmental delays, along with their families.
Dr. Kwon co-coordinates the Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing concentration within the Special Education graduate program, where she teaches courses in literacy, curriculum development, and the capstone project seminar. She also serves as a faculty advisor, supervising graduate students in the program during their field practicum. Her research interests include education of d/Deaf and hard of hearing students, children with multiple disabilities, equitable & inclusive practices in K-12 educational settings, and immigrant families and disability.
