SSHRC Storytellers Contest Winner – Simon Lisaingo

Simon Lisaingo, a School Psychology grad student, was one of 25 finalists that presented at the annual Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) Storytellers competition in Ottawa last week. SSHRC’s Storytellers contest challenges post-secondary students to show Canadians how social sciences and humanities research is affecting our lives, our world and our future for the better

Out of the 25 finalist presenters, only five were selected as champions of this year’s Storytellers competition – and Simon was selected as one of the five champions!

The five winning students in the 2015 Storytellers competition are:
  • Naveen Devasagayam
  • Tanya Elchuk
  • Bryan Gallagher
  • Simon Lisaingo
  • Heather Prime
