Graduate Workshop: Providing Effective Feedback

The Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology and Special Education (ECPS), is pleased to offer a training program for all Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) interested in becoming GTAs or are currently working as GTAs. As part of this professional development opportunity, workshops will be offered to support GTA’s teaching competencies and skills in diverse learning and teaching areas. This year, a mentorship program will also be implemented in which more senior and experienced GTAs will mentor new and returning GTAs in their teaching journeys. Participants who successfully complete the theoretical and practical components of 5 workshops over the next 18 months will receive a letter of acknowledgment from ECPS’s Department Head. Letters of acknowledgment will highlight participants’ engagement, mentorship, and/or educational leadership.

Our first workshop of the year will be on:

This workshop will be led by Martin Dammert, a senior GTA in ECPS
