On April 1st, 2015, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) announced in the top 25 finalists in the 2015 SSHRC Storytellers Challenge. The annual competition challenges post-secondary students from across the country to demonstrate (in up to three minutes or 300 words) how SSHRC-funded research is making a difference in the lives of Canadians.

Two out of the three student finalists at UBC are graduate students from our department.

Congratulations to Courtenay Crucil (M.A. in CNPS) and Simon Lisaingo (M.A. in SCPS) and best of luck to you both in the final round!
