Dana Dmytro (MA)

Dana Dmytro (MA) has recently completed a BA majoring in Psychology at UBC and is now in the MA program in School Psychology. As a Research Assistant in Dr. Ann Cameron’s Child Study Lab she has been assisting with research related to adolescent boys’ navigation of romantic relationships, attachment relations and cortisol reactivity, and cultural differences in the moral evaluation of lying and truth-telling. Her personal research interests lie in the development and implementation of interventions that support boys’ social and emotional development. In particular, she plans to explore how boys’ unique, gendered experiences contribute to their social and academic functioning. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, Bikram’s yoga, cultural festivals and watching films.
