
Ph.D. Student
Antonia is a white cis woman from an Italian, German, and American mixed family. She was born in Germany, grew up in Toronto, Canada, and moved to Vancouver to pursue graduate school. She is currently a Ph.D. student in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, where she works in clinical, school, and community settings with school-aged children and their families. Her research has focused on how educators understand and support the needs of neurodivergent learners to promote inclusion in the classroom. She has also worked as a project manager to support ongoing collaborations between Melanie Nelson and local First Nations communities. Her goals are to continue to expand her knowledge and skills for providing culturally sensitive, family and child-centered, and empowering supports and services.
