Alina Lyons (MA)

Alina Lyons (MA) is originally from Toronto, Ontario where she graduated from the University of Toronto with an honours BSc, specializing in psychology and human biology. Following graduation, Alina worked as a research analyst in the clinical research department at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto. This work focused mostly on depression and anxiety disorders in adults. Alina has extensive experience working with children and youth in both recreational and educational settings. Her current research interests include precursors to mental health disorders in children, specifically the role of social emotional well-being in schools. Alina enjoys biking, swimming, and most other outdoor activities that beautiful Vancouver has to offer.
