Aly Fielding (MA)

Aly Fielding (MA) is currently a second year student in the School Psychology MA program. She was born and raised in Vancouver and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at UBC in 2009, majoring in Family Studies. Having a background in family studies, she is interested in working with children and exploring how family variables impact children’s academic success. Currently she is interested in exploring the relationship between parent variables and their adherence to psychological recommendations after their child’s psychoeducational assessment. She has experience working with children aged 6-12 in a variety of settings, including Out-of-School Care, summer camp programs and youth support groups. Some of her hobbies include interior design and boating throughout British Columbia. She is looking forward to her practicum next year and hopes to work in the school system after graduation.
