The Faculty of Education welcomes Dr. Karen Bopp as Director of Provincial Outreach in the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration in Autism (CIRCA). Her appointment in ECPS is funded by an $800,000 grant from the Ministry of Children and Family Development, toward the goal of ensuring that families of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have ready access to high quality professional services and support. Through this initiative, Dr. Bopp will collaborate with other post-secondary institutions to develop and implement a strategic plan that will address the training needs of ASD service providers and families across the province.
