Alexandra Percy is originally from Vancouver BC, and is currently in the second year of the doctoral program. She moved to Toronto in 2005 to complete a Master of Arts degree in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Toronto, and then settled in Montreal for a couple of years prior to returning to Vancouver to pursue education in School Psychology. Her doctoral level research is examining how parents and schools can form collaborative partnerships to support youth with mental health concerns. Alexandra is most interested in working with youth with internalizing concerns, and in understanding how these difficulties impact academic performance, as well as how schools and families can best support these students.
