This special presentation will provide an overview of evidence-based interventions for ADHD, describe a combined family-school intervention approach for treating this disorder, consider the findings of outcome and mediational studies, and discuss strategies for adapting the intervention across settings and developmental levels.
Participants will learn strategies for strengthening key relationships for students while applying evidence-based interventions and identify gaps in research that need investigation in the future.
An informal APPIC internship chat with students to follow.
