Welcome Drs. Simon Lisaingo and Laura Klubben

We are thrilled to welcome Drs. Simon Lisaingo and Laura Klubben as Lecturers at ECPS.

Dr. Simon Lisaingo – SACP Lecturer

Dr. Lisaingo completed his Ph.D. in School and Applied Child Psychology Program at the University of British Columbia. His doctoral dissertation examined the development, implementation, and evaluation of a home-school consultive intervention for students with emerging emotional and behavioural problems. His experience includes working for the Provincial Outreach Clinician for the Children and Youth with Complex Care Needs program with the Ministry of Children and Family Development and the BC Psychosis Program and Mood Disorder clinics, where he conducted neuropsychological assessments and led cognitive remediation interventions. He also worked as a classroom teacher in Vancouver, Ottawa and the Yukon.


Dr. Laura Klubben – CNPS Lecturer 

Dr. Klubben completed her Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology in 2014. She is a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia, and she has been working in private practice since 2014.

Her clinical specialties include trauma disorders, such as PTSD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, as well as working with clients with head injury and chronic pain post-injury. She has written over 50 medical legal reports, and she has served multiple times as an expert witness in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in the Courts of BC.
