Back by popular demand!

Frequently an inner conflict emerges during a therapy session. The Gestalt Two Chair technique is a powerful intervention to quickly bring to light what is at the core of the problem by unveiling the client’s relationship with him or herself.

This presentation with start with a brief review of the stages of Two-You Work, the 3 types of Splits and how and when to start the process. It will also cover the major problem that occurs during the work and how to address it.

The main focus of the presentation will be on how and when to shift from one split to another. Working in dyads and triads, participants will be able to practice. I will also provide a demonstration. Time is provided for debriefing, discussion and questions.

Bea Mackay, Ph. D. is an internationally recognized Adlerian and Gestalt Therapist. She is a registered psychologist in private practice in Vancouver, Canada working with individuals, couples and families. She has offered workshops in Canada, USA, Mexico, Europe and Australia. She is a senior trainer with Gestalt Vancouver. Her book, Two-You Work: How to Work with the Self in Conflict, was published in 2011.

Refreshments will be provided.  No RSVP required.
