Counselors’ Attitudes Toward Working with Clients With Substance Use Disorders

Dr. Anita Hubley and her former CNPS M.A. student, Zach Cornfield (graduated Nov., 2018) recently did a podcast with Dr. Bryan Kim, the Editor of APA Div. 17’s (Society of Counseling Psychology) journal The Counseling Psychologist. They were interviewed about their upcoming article “Counselors’ Attitudes Toward Working with Clients With Substance Use Disorders” that will appear as the lead article in the July issue of the journal. This podcast is being widely advertised on Apple Podcasts, the SAGE Psychology and Psychiatry series, APA Div. 17, and The Counseling Psychologist Facebook and website pages. Th article stemmed from Zach’s Master’s thesis, which also won Best Master’s Poster Award from the Executive Committee of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) Section on Counselling Psychology in 2019.
