What is egalitarian marriage and how does this knowledge help in treating couples? Dr. Rabin will present her latest research on differences and similarities in the construction of equality for North American, English, Jewish Israeli, and Arab Israeli egalitarian couples to address these questions. Additionally, methods on empowering couples through therapy will be discussed.

About Dr. Rabin:

Founder and director of the Claire Rabin Institute for Couples Therapy (www.clairerabin.co.il), a series of 12 clinics in Israel specializing in relationship counselling, Dr. Rabin is also a professor of family therapy and the founder and director of the Tel Aviv’s University School of Social Work’s Continuing Education Program.

Her main research interests are in family and couples. Additionally, she is interested in cross-cultural cooperation and would be interested to explore collaboration with others on this research. She is also available to consult with students who might have questions.
