CNPS 534: Gender and Sex Role Issues in Counselling (Application Deadline: Sunday, April 5, 2020)

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful applicant for this course in Gender and Sex Role Issues in Counselling must have a PhD in Counselling Psychology from an accredited institution. Instructors must also have demonstrated content expertise in counselling related research, theory and practice related to Gender and Sex Role Issues in Counselling, including masculinity, femininity, communication, romantic relationships, mental health, sexual orientation and LGBTQ issues, violence, trauma, and social marginalization.

CNPS 588C: Supervised Clinical Experience in Counselling (Application Deadline: Thursday, April 20, 2020)

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful applicant must have a PhD in Counselling Psychology, at least 5 years of post-degree clinical experience, and be registered with the College of Psychologists.

CNPS 598C: Field Experience  (Application Deadline: Sunday, Apr 12, 2020)

QUALIFICATIONS

Preference is given to persons who have taught CNPS 598 (Field Experiences: Counselling Practicum) or CNPS 588 (Supervised Training in Counselling) or an equivalent graduate-level course and/or other clinical courses with a positive teaching evaluation record. Preference is also given to applicants with sufficient experience of clinical practice and supervision and those who are registered or in the process of registering with the College of Psychologists of B.C. Successful applicants must have completed a doctoral degree in counselling psychology at an accredited educational institution.
