The Autism
and Developmental Disabilities Lab (ADD Lab) was established by
Dr. Pat Mirenda
in 2000. The ADD Lab is engaged in a wide variety of research topics related to
augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), problem behavior, early
intervention, and literacy for individuals with autism and other developmental
disabilities. The members of the lab work on both collaborative and individual
projects, many of which are funded by external grants or contracts. The ADD Lab
offers many opportunities for students to explore their own research interests,
to take part in a range of different projects, and to develop their abilities as
researchers. |
