How to Apply

 

Graduate Teaching Assistants must be registered as full time graduate students.

Please submit applications electronically to ecps.administration@ubc.ca including a current CV, 2 letters of reference, the standard ECPS Student Work Application Form as well as a Student Employment Work Schedule Agreement Form and specific course numbers/sections.

*Please note: If you have worked in ECPS as a TA, in the 2008/2009 academic year, you do not need to submit a new CV or letters of reference.

Applicants must have a minimum of a recognized master's degree with relevant teaching experience and academic expertise.

Under the direction and close collaboration of a tenured faculty member, duties include teaching, holding regular office hours, marking assignments, reporting grades, attending subject area meetings as well as follow-up appointments, where applicable.

Due to scheduling and workload changes and plans within the Department, deadlines for applications may change and new job postings may be uploaded. We will try to indicate these changes, but it is the responsibility of potential applicants to check the website periodically for changes.
