Heart – Mind 2013 Conference Explores the latest science and practice that shows how Mindfulness fosters the development of compassion, confidence and resilience in children, and helps them develop respectful and nurturing relationships. The conference plenaries, dialogues and workshops are designed for parents, educators, clinicians, coaches and more – all those who care for and about children.
Among many other wonderful speakers, find ECPS’ own Professor – Kimberly Schonert-Reichl, Ph.D., present findings from several recent experimental studies including an evaluation of the effectiveness of the MindUP program on children’s executive functions, social-emotional and psychological well-being, and school achievement.
Dr. Schonert-Reichl will also have a conversation with Goldie Hawn, moderated by Maria LeRose, about mindfulness as a pathway to social and emotional development.
