Successful applicants must be qualified teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing and/or other professionals who have supported the listening and spoken language development of children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Preference will be given to individuals who have a doctorate or current SPED doctoral students who have reached candidacy, and who have previously taught this course, or an equivalent course, at UBC or elsewhere.
