Student applications
for the M.A. and M.Ed. programs in the ECPS Department are
normally considered once per year.
- Specifically, applications must be completed and all supporting documentation must be received by the ECPS Department by December 1st, for enrollment in September of the next year.
Students who
wish to begin their program of studies in Summer session may
specifically request an earlier start date . It is important
to note that applicants to the SCPS area are only considered for
a September start date. Under special circumstances (to be outlined
by the applicant in a cover letter), applications may be considered
at other times throughout the year, depending on space limitations.
Ph.D. Application Deadline - December 1st,
4:30PM
Student applications for the Doctoral Programs are normally considered once per year.
- Specifically, applications must be completed and all supporting documentation must be received by the ECPS Department by December 1st, for enrollment in September of the next year.
International applicants should apply one month prior to the above deadline. Students who wish to begin their program of studies in May or July (Summer session) may specifically request an earlier start date in their December 1st application. (Note. Applicants to the SCPS area are only considered for a September start date.)
The above application deadlines may differ from that of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Students who are
interested in on-campus housing should note that UBC housing application
deadlines do not correspond with program application deadlines.
