Dr. Rhea Owens has been awarded a two-year UBC Hampton Fund Research Grant New Faculty Award in the amount of $9,295 for the project, “A Strength-Based Mentoring Intervention for Children”.
The aim of this competition is to kick-start the research programs of tenure-track Assistant Professors in the Social Sciences and Humanities who were hired recently (i.e., those hired within the last 18 months).
